China TripSummer 2013June 15-28th Day 1: Fly overnight to China Day 2: Arrive in Beijing Day 3: Beijing (guided tour, visit the Summer Palace, ride on a dragon boat, visit The Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square) Day 4: Beijing (travel to Badaling, tour The Great Wall, meet local host families) Day 5: Beijing (ILS placement and orientation) Day 6: Beijing (attend Mandarin Chinese lessons at ILS language school) Day 7: Beijing (attend Mandarin Chinese lessons at ILS language school) Day 8: Beijing (attend Mandarin Chinese lessons at ILS language school) Day 9: Beijing (attend Mandarin Chinese lessons at ILS language school) Day 10: Beijing to Xi’an (Fly to Xi’an – bike ride on the ancient City Wall) Day 11: Xi’an (guided tour, visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Terracotta Warriors) Day 12: Xi’an to Shanghai (fly to Shanghai, visit Shanghai World Finance Center, the Bund, and enjoy a Chinese acrobatics show) Day 13: Shanghai (guided tour, visit the Jade Buddha Temple and Yu Yuan Garden then see Nanjing Lu) Day 14: Depart for home
