  2. Fish(Description) Alligator Gar (Atractosteusspatula)- is the largest of the seven known species of Gar. It can reach up to ten feet in length! These menacing-looking behemoths are generally olive green or yellow and have a heavily scaled body. Clown Fish (Premnasbiaculeatus)-Bright orange with three distinctive white bars makes it a very easy animal to identify. Catfish (Siluriformes)- a large toothless fish that can weigh up to 99 pounds and can strecth to a length of five feet! Swordfish (Xiphiasgladius) – this extra long fish has an amazingly sharp nose and is incredibly fast due to its slim aerodynamic body and large fins. Largemouth Bass (Micropterussalmoides)- has a compressed body and large mouthwith sharp spines.

  3. Fish(Habitat) Alligator Gar (Atractosteusspatula)-inhabit lakes, bayous, and bays and are able to tolerate brackish and even salt water. Clown Fish (Premnasbiaculeatus)-inhabit the shallow waters of the Indian Ocean, the Red Sea, and the western Pacific. They are not found in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, or Atlantic Ocean. The sea anemone that it lives in it has adapted to were the anemone doesn’t sting the clownfish. Catfish (Siluriformes)- They live in deep dark and cold rivers and lakes. River catfish are known to inhabit Tonle Sap Lake in Cambodia. Swordfish (Xiphiasgladius) – this extra long fish has an amazingly sharp nose and is incredibly fast due to its slim aerodynamic body and large fins. It has adapted speed to outrun its predator. Largemouth Bass (Micropterussalmoides)- compressed body and large mouth. Its lower jaw is longer and extends farther out than its upper jaw. These have also adapted to catch their prey by speed enhancement.

  4. Fish(Diet) Alligator Gar (Atractosteusspatula)-crustaceans like small crabsand pretty much anything they can find. Carnivore. Clown Fish (Premnasbiaculeatus)-shrimp, algae, marine worms. Omnivore Catfish (Siluriformes)- insects, small fish and vegetation. The Catfish is an Omnivore. Swordfish (Xiphiasgladius) – squids, cephalopods and pelagic fish. Carnivore. Largemouth Bass (Micropterussalmoides)-small fish, scuds, small shrimp, and insects. Carnivore.

  5. Fish(Protection) Alligator Gar (Atractosteusspatula)- by biting the other fish with it’s long nose. Clown Fish (Premnasbiaculeatus)- they live in the anemones to protect themselves. Catfish (Siluriformes)- they have pointed pectoral and dorsal fins,which contain a mild venom,can cause a stinging if they enter flesh. Swordfish (Xiphiasgladius) – by using it’s “sword” to fend off others. Largemouth Bass (Micropterussalmoides)- by using its sharp spinal fins.

  6. Fish(Unique Charecteristics) Alligator Gar (Atractosteusspatula)- (unknown young name and young count) is the largest freshwater fish in North America. Clown Fish (Premnasbiaculeatus)-they are called Fry when they are young. Catfish (Siluriformes)- the young are called Fry. Swordfish (Xiphiasgladius) – "Knifefish“ are the names of their young. Its “sword” is actually called a beak! Largemouth Bass (Micropterussalmoides)- The young are called Fry at hatching...Fingerling as they grow. 1000-2000 eggs are born from the mother.

  7. Fish(Problems your animal faces) Alligator Gar (Atractosteusspatula)- being fished out of their homes by humans. Clown Fish (Premnasbiaculeatus)- (unknown) Catfish (Siluriformes)-over exposeure to the sport of fishing. Swordfish (Xiphiasgladius) – also being hunted for sport or entertainment. Largemouth Bass (Micropterussalmoides)-being fished to extinction.

  8. Fish(Conclusion) Alligator Gar (Atractosteusspatula)- A very cool and fast lethal predator! Clown Fish (Premnasbiaculeatus)- a classic fish that had way more to learn about than expected! Catfish (Siluriformes)-a wonderful fisherman's prize!! Swordfish (Xiphiasgladius) – an amazing animal that is being overhunted for sports. Largemouth Bass (Micropterussalmoides)-Another great fish that serves up more than expected.
