Job Brokerage- WNF Aims are to: • Design and build an innovative Central Jobs Hub Portal for Middlesbrough WNF residents. • Provide co-ordination of existing vacancies and not to contact employers • Help to match WNF engaged clients who are job ready with these vacancies . • Track WNF job outcomes from any jobs where the client has been referred to the Job Brokerage. • Offer of central premises to any organisation for job matching/interviews etc. • Add value to provision through mentoring support ensuring sustainability in job (where support is not contracted)

Central Jobs Hub- CJH (The technology bit) Through continuous updates & development the CJH will provide WNF residents with a central vacancies pool which: • Makes job search easier, quicker and will direct residents to the organisation marketing those jobs. • Monitors use and provides labour market intelligence e.g. skills gaps, unfilled vacancies etc. • Is accessible to all NEGs and partners under licence.

The Service • 2 x Job Brokers (Leon Smith & Davina Long). • Match and help ‘job ready’ clients referred by NEGs to vacancies on the Hub. • Caseload clients and inform of suitable vacancies • Provide support for job search, interviews, applications- groups/one to one. • Provide a hub of employment support to employers, providers & partners from Middlesbrough Works Central. • Promote the CJH to organisations to encourage them to share their vacancies. • Provide 6 months post placement mentoring support as required

  6. Indicative Outputs From 1st Jan 09 - 31st March 2011 • 750 Clients supported • 500 Clients placed into work • 250 Clients still in work 6 months later
