  3. Objectives • To review previous workshops and share learning since • To consider some planning tools and how to communicate them beyond the planning team • To establish further CPD and support

Prioritisation matrix What is it? • A framework to help prioritise a number of solutions or alternatives • Each solution is rated in terms of the impact it would have if it were implemented and in terms of how “do-able” the option is 4 High HIGHER PRIORITY SOLUTIONS 3 Impact 2 1 Low 1 2 3 4 Hard Easy Do-ability

Action planning The following plans will: • be developed by the team, in response to the particular issues identified by the whole school staff • highlight rational, political and emotional benefits • inform the school improvement plan • Inform and involve the governing body This is an integral part of the normal school development/improvement planning process

Brown paper planning • demonstrates an approach to planning which uses the power of the team and also helps to build the team • a visual wall display • documents an entire plan, process or situation • it provides a “high touch” visual of an entire plan • details the actual steps taken • highlights all activities, interfaces, decision points and information sources
