  2. Upon entering the RECRUIT system, the applicant is asked to choose a recruitment, and then create an individual recruitment account.

  3. Account and contact information

  4. Degree and Employment information

  5. Account created confirmation

  6. RECRUIT ApplicantID created! • The applicant will then click on the Go to My Dashboard link

  7. Applicant Dashboard. • Information about the status of this application can be found here by the applicant at any time. • The green My Information box shows that the My Information section has been completed.

  8. The next section is My Files, where the applicant will upload all required documents to complete the application. • Optional documents are uploaded here as well.

  9. It’s easy for the applicant to browse their computer and upload any document. Though, Microsoft documents should be MS 97–2003 only. Newer versions are not compatible. • The applicant can include a short description about what they are uploading as well.

  10. Once all documents are uploaded, the screen will look like this. • The My Files button is now green, signifying completion of that section.

  11. My References • All reference information is detailed here by the applicant by clicking the Add reference link.

  12. The applicant fills in all of the required details. • After adding the reference, the applicant must click the Request letter of reference button to complete the whole request (only if letters are requested for this recruitment).

  13. This is where the Letter of reference is requested.

  14. The applicant can add their own comments to the referee on this page.

  15. Letter of Reference verification and final submission.

  16. The My Reference tab is now yellow, showing that letters have been requested, but not yet received. • The Diversity Survey is now available, and will soon be required.

  17. The Diversity Survey will be changing shortly to allow the applicant to decline to state their gender or ethnicity, but the survey will then be mandatory in order to complete their application.

  18. Application complete!! • The Diversity Survey tab is now green showing that the survey has been completed.

  19. The applicant can enter the application to make any changes to his/her documents up until the Final Date chosen by the analyst when setting up the recruitment.

  20. The applicant can see department contact information by clicking the Show button at the bottom.

  21. By clicking on the My References tab, the applicant can see the status of his/her letters of reference.

  22. The applicant can re-send the request token to the referee, or even delete the reference and replace them. • Be certain to let your applicants know that if they delete a referee that they should notify them not to send a letter in. The RECRUIT system does not do this for them.

  23. An e-mail, with a token (link), is sent out to the referees after the applicant clicks the send button.

  24. Once the referee clicks on the token (link) he or she is taken to the first page for references.

  25. After reviewing the confidentiality information, the referee is then taken to a page where a reference letter can be uploaded to the RECRUIT system.

  26. The final page thanks the referee for his or her input and time.

  27. The RECRUIT system then sends out a thank you e-mail to the referee.

  28. Back on the applicants Dashboard, her application now shows as complete when the required reference letter is received.

  29. RECRUIT Applicants section training complete! • Any questions?
