  8. Things to do • Register (everyone needs to have an email address) • Name: LastnameNickname(e.g. TanMel) - no symbols! • Edit Account and Profile Details • Check email confirmation

  9. Things to do • Log-in • Click on your picture (top-right) to view/edit your profile page • Edit using the member menu options

  10. Things to do • Click “Groups” from Main Menu • Go to the IPTHO Group • Click Join Group • Click on the Forum button in the Group menu • Select thread: Workshop Resources /Materials • Download the file “Slides on Using EC” for more info on how to navigate through EC

Things to do • Within the IPTHO Groups • Click Member Groups • Select your assignedsub-group (based on workshop grouping) • Click Join Group • Can post a message or announcement • Forum • Self-introduction – Add reply • Add new topics: Workshop Reflections, Group Outputs • Important: topic threading, moderatorship • Assign a Group Admin (for admin privileges: options control) • Revise group name, avatar, and description (members, schools, PBL topic options for today)

  12. Things to do • Forum – other groups • View forum threads, comment (auto-join) • On your owntime: • Go through the various available Resources • Try out blogs, personal tools (album, etc.) • Check out activities of others
