  2. TCR Objectives The Climate Registry Common system for state, province and tribal GHG emissions reporting. Accurate, complete, consistent, transparent, and verified set of data supported by a robust accounting and verification infrastructure. All of North America.   3. Why TCR? Regional registries were forming: California Climate Action Registry. Northeast states emissions registry. Midwest states emissions registry. Standardize best practices, avoid duplication, inconsistency. Reduce costs for states and reporters. Create a platform for a national reporting capability. California Climate InitiativeDialogue Group

  4. TCR Members 39 U.S. states. 4 Canadian provinces (all 13 have stated their intention to become members). 3 Indian tribes. 1 Mexican state. California Climate InitiativeDialogue Group

  5. TCR Organization Board of Directors: member states, provinces, tribes. Executive Committee. Protocols and Programs Committee. Finance & Development Committee. Stakeholder Advisory Committee. Executive Director. California Climate InitiativeDialogue Group
