  2. What Is Fall Protection/Prevention? • Fall Protection is a system that is designed to protect associates from the risk of falls when working at within 6’ of an open edge or 4’ above the floor level. • Fall Prevention is a structural design that limits a fall to the same level.

  3. Why Do we Need Fall Protection? • Falls are one of the leading causes of worker fatalities and injuries! • Associates need to be aware of a variety of Fall Protection Systems.

  4. What are some of the Potential Fall Hazards? • Failing to use appropriate Fall Protection • Using Fall Protection equipment Improperly • Using Equipment that is not in proper working condition • Poor Housekeeping Issues
