Employment dissatisfaction was high for self-management (38%), planning and organising (38%), problem solving (34%) and initiative and enterprise (33%) The apprenticeship hiring system hasn’t changed much in the past…. Fiona and her friend working for a GTO know of a combined total of around 100 female Apprentices in different trades looking for work.

  9. Buddy System Fanelle links early stage apprentices with older apprentices and tradeswomen in the local community. The support of these role models encourages apprentices to strive for success, plan career paths and network. Role models are there to answer apprentices questions, provide support and encourage apprentices to finish their apprenticeship.
