    2. Saint David was a loving and caring man who was a Welsh soldier. Saint David and other soldiers fought to protect their land from the Saxon invaders Whilst fighting the Welsh men were wearing Leeks on their helmets to show that they were Welsh and to give them good luck. They wear helmets to protect their heads from getting seriously hurt. They also wear body armour so they wont get injured .

    6. The Welsh love spoon is often made out of wood. In Welsh gift shops you can often find the love spoons. They carve the love spoons to make the shape, and on most of Welsh love spoons they have a chain on the top like the one behind us. Have a look. Welsh love spoon.

    7. Welsh clothing for the lady is a red shawl, black skirt, white blouse and a black hat. Welsh clothing.

    8. When is Saint Davids day?

    9. Every year we celebrate Saint Davids Day on March 1st because this was the day he died. This is why we all dress up to remember our patron saint.
