Skills Development Engineering Skills Academy: Double credit SQA Engineering Skills unit at Strathclyde Sector specific Skills Development Training In conjunction with paid vacation work placements Within the 6 departments in the Faculty of Engineering at Strathclyde • MEng BEng (Hons) H/AH College Partnership delivery Year 1 SFC additional funded places HNC Award embedded Year 2 – Partnership @ Strathclyde bespoke programme HNC Entry Point Year 5 Year 1 Year 2 Year 3 Year 4 University Degree Course

Progression to Strathclyde • Progression to second year guaranteed subject to satisfactory completion of programme • Pass all 15 units • A in graded unit • Completion of skills development training • Second year will be a modified version of the regular Strathclyde curriculum • Third year onwards is identical to regular curriculum
