Profile of Visiting Evaluation Team • Recommendations concerning the type of chair and evaluation team members who should visit the campus will be based on: • Experience in the special emphasis area of student success • Similar institutional profile • Usually from institutions outside home state

Charges to Sub-Committees • Standards to be addressed • Guiding research questions • Gathering and analyzing evidence • Producing outlines, preliminary drafts, and final draft of subcommittee report, following template provided by Steering Committee • Deadlines for the various tasks and reports • Not expected to discover definitive solutions for every problem, but to identify critical issues for the institution • Propose possible courses of action that might lead to improvements

Master Reaccreditation Timetable (MRTT) Fixed Dates Spring 2011 • MSCHE selects evaluation team members,and the institution approves the selection September 2011 • Evaluation team chair reviews draft of self-study report October 2011 • Institution sends draft of self-study report to evaluation team chair, prior to evaluation team chair’s preliminary visit November 2011 • Team chair makes preliminary visit at least four months prior to team visit November-December 2011 • Institution prepares final version of the self-study report January 2012 • Institution sends final report to evaluation team and to MSCHE at least six weeks prior to team visit

  11. Master Reaccreditation Timetable (MRTT) Fixed Dates February 2012 • Final campus town hall meeting March-April 2012 • Team visit Spring 2012 • Team report Spring 2012 • Institutional response Summer/Fall 2012 • Committee on Evaluation Reports meets Summer/Fall 2012 • Commission action
