  5. Lake Improvement Advisory Panel • Second Term appointed in March 2004 • 6 community and 6 experts • Held 6 meetings to date • Provided input into waterfront background studies • Expires November 2006

Lake Advisory Recommendations • Recognize in the Official Plan 9 ecological monitoring lakes (Clearwater, Daisy, Hannah, Joe, Labelle, Lohi, Middle, Nelson, Swan) • Investigate/implement a septic system inspection program • Investigate/implement storm water runoff retention/filtration methods • Implement a pesticide management plan • Recognize and support new and existing lake groups/residents
