  1. Motorcycle Trip2014 Follow the directions on each slide to complete your map and key.

  2. Get your map ready: • Put your name on the paper. • Add the title “Motorcycle Trip”. • Make a compass rose and fill in the letters for north, south, east and west. This is Mr. Francescangeli ready to ride!

  3. Find Ohio on your map and color it red. Add a red dot to your map key. = Ohio We started our trip on a cloudy day in Ohio.

  4. Find Kentucky on your map and make a blue dot. Add a blue dot to your map key. = Kentucky We traveled south through some heavy rain and stopped for the night in Lexington, Kentucky.

  5. Find Tennessee on your map and make a green dot. Add a green dot to your map key. = Tennessee We traveled south again to get to Tennessee. These are pictures of the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee. The scenery was beautiful!

  6. Find North Carolina on your map and make a purple dot. Add a purple dot to your map key. = North Carolina We traveled east to North Carolina. This is a picture of Mr. Francescangeli, taken when we finished riding the “Tail of the Dragon”. It is a road with 318 twisty curves in just 11 miles!

  7. Now find a state you would like to visit and make a dot in any color you choose. Add a that colored dot to your map key. = state I’d like to visit This is an observation tower in the Smokey Mountains. This is a waterfall in North Carolina that you could drive under and stay dry!

  8. Keep on Riding! What a wonderful trip!
