  4. Senior Thesis Deadlines • Seniors: Project completion and assessment deadline is March 15th, 2016 • Juniors: Senior Project Topic and related Paperwork due Wednesday, May15th

  5. New Student Aides • Cassie Fenton – Special Events • Pam Bletsova – HDGs and Records Keeping • Amy Aroune – Community Service

  6. Honors Students Requirements • 1 Academic Event (Lunch with a Professor, Symposium, Forum) • 2 Community Events (Brown Bags, Instant Decision Days, Admitted Students Days, Honors Conferences, Admissions Interview Sessions) • 2 Special Events (Competitions, Parties) • Freshmenonly- 6 Honors Development Groups in Spring Sign In at Every Event!

  7. NCHC & Conference Information • National Collegiate Honors Council Conference: October 12-16, 2016 in Seattle, Washington • A great experience, travel excursion, and way to get involved in the Honors Program. • Dr. Hangen must approve your 300 word abstract, to be submitted to her by March 1st

  8. Student-Faculty Brown Bag Lunches • Upcoming Brown Bags: RSVP on Facebook and keep an eye on your emails! • The E-Board is taking suggestions! • Community Service Brown Bag coming up in Spring.

  9. Important Dates: • Lunch with a Professor: Thursday, February 25th from 1-2 in Pavilion 1. (Academic Event) • Deadline to RSVP Friday • Executive Board Applications: Due by Wednesday, February 17th • Symposium: Wednesday, April 6th from 2:00-6:00 (Academic Event)

  10. HDGs • Special Events upcoming in March and April • Suggestions are welcome • Honors Olympics will be on a Saturday in April • First-year students should be aware of HDG times by now • Contact me if you need to switch to a different HDG
