HOW TO TACKLE THE SAT II There are three types of questions: • Classification Questions – These questions are about 27% of the test and ask you to do sort of a “backwards” multiple choice question Example question: (A) Ms. Herrick (B) Mr. Pickle (C) Ms. Hill (D) Ms. Heath (E) Mr. Kucharski 1. This teacher uses “Whiskers” the check for understanding kitten. 2. This teacher teaches math.

  7. HOW TO TACKLE THE SAT II • Relationship Analysis Questions – These questions are about 20% of the test, but tend to be some of the trickiest questions! They ask you to determine if two statements are true or false. Then, it will ask you to decide if Statement I is the CORRECT EXPLANATION for Statement II Example: STATEMENT I STATEMENT II Ms. Herrick is our teacher BECAUSE Ms. Herrick is the President of the United States

  8. HOW TO TACKLE THE SAT II Five-Choice Completion Questions – These questions are 53% of the test. They ask you to do a variety of things from solving chemistry problems to recalling information, etc. You then, just like a normal multiple choice question, pick the best answer out of the 5 provided. Example: A man was running in the woods. He ran 5 miles west, and then 4 miles east. How many miles is he west from his starting point? • 9 miles • 1 mile • 3 miles • 2 miles • 8 miles

What is acute toxicity? How is it usually measured? What does the LD50 measure? What are some of the most common deadly poisons? What is the most deadly poison, according to the artcle?
