  1. Lead Implementors – February 2010 What’s Been Happening??? • November 10 --All OhioLINK systems turned over to the new ETD for operations and maintenance

Lead Implementors – February 2010 What’s been restored since: • Access to the Central Catalog for III and staff (non-root) • EJC for loading and indexing • EBC for loading and indexing • OSearch databases for loading and indexing • OLINKS • DRC for staff access • ETD for staff and end-user uploading • Access to central web server for staff

  3. Lead Implementors – February 2010 What’s still not restored: • Blackwell Table of Contents loads • EJC claiming of missing issues via the Serials machine • Digital Video Collection – new content not being loaded • LANDSAT images not working. No new content being loaded

Lead Implementors – February 2010 • Status of the Discovery Layer • Index Data selected • First step: replacement for MetaLib • Development work on hold while waiting for the Share Infrastructure to be available • Index Data informally selected • Wider “Educational Technologies Division” interested in Index Data’s software • Discussions Occurring about How to Pay For DLTF Work Using a Broader Scope of Work Status of Discovery Layer ITN Status of Discovery Layer ITN

  5. Lead Implementors – February 2010 OhioLINK 2.0 • Equinox development proceeding this spring • First meeting of the Implementation Steering Committee delayed • PCIRC/Circulation and OPAC/Cataloging committees told to get started (need to review Equinox development)

Lead Implementors – February 2010 What’s New with DRC Developments? • Staff access just turned back on • Still waiting on Share Infrastructure for additional server and disk space • New content is still not being loaded • New DRC instances not being created • Naxos is still waiting to be loaded • Need developers to replace the ones lost in past year

  7. Lead Implementors – February 2010 Shared Depository System • Development on hold awaiting the availability of the Shared Infrastructure • Install III system • Load data for a test system • After successful test, load full data from the 13 libraries • Suppress/delete holdings in the Central Catalog from local catalog • Contribute holdings from Shared Depository system • PCIRC begins on Shared Depository system.
