  2. What Kind of Work Did They Have to do ? • Mostly they done whatever job had to be done. • A lot of people were block guards • Those who couldn’t work because they were too ill were sent to die.

  3. What Were Rooms Like? • The Germans put as many people in one room as possible. • The campers slept in bunk beds but about 10 people would sleep at the bottom and the same at the top.

  4. How Many Death Camps Are There in the World? • There was 6 death camps. • They are Auschwitz-Birkenau, Belzec, Chelmno, Majdanek, Sobibor, Treblinka. • All these camps were located in Poland. • There were more camps in the world but they were not death camps. • Some were even located in Germany.

  5. Did Anyone Try to Stop The Holocaust? • No one done anything about the Holocaust until the U.S. came in with the allies and marched over Germany. • Before the U.S. came in nothing was done but they could have bombed the railways going into the camps.
