    3. Works Perks – Benefits Strategy Partner selected to deliver tax free and voluntary benefits on a cost neutral and risk free basis One provider for whole scheme Launched in October 2005 in response to revamp of Pay and Rewards

    5. Delivering our promises Key successes from consultation, marketing and communication of ‘something for everyone’ Tax free benefits attracted £1.2 million sales Discounts for employees from high street goods and services resulting in excess of £200,000 savings in first year

Our Cost Neutral Approach Charge for Works Perks is on a per capita basis Booklet for every employee plus web access Charge is set against partner performance Excellent service delivery – they get paid Unresponsive service – they don’t get paid! Partner has invested interest and commitment to make it work linked to awareness and take up of the programme

    8. Results in 2005/6 Employer NI savings from salary sacrificed has funded benefits for 13,200 employees for 2 years through to October 2007 Works Perks has been acclaimed as a leader in its field for both the range of benefits offered and its marketing and communication strategy

    9. 6 National awards in its first year including Grand Prix winner at Employee Benefits 2006

Corporate and Public Issues Green issues are core business issues for public and private sector (Tesco customers now rewarded for green purchases) City centres are getting more congested and emphasis is on sustainable travel options Transport is the new way to pull together these converging priorities for action

Elderly and care for disabled people – Personnel today compiling a tax breaks for carers petition Health and Fitness programmes to tackle the growing national obesity problem and encourage more healthy lifestyle choices Mobile Phones – almost a PC now Buy and Sell leave - more healthy work-life balance
