  13. Dynamic Reports begin with Questions“Queries” Initial Destination State the question: “What is the percentage of clients living in your area whose initial destination is outside of your community?”

  14. Building a “Query” The pieces of information (fields) needed to answer the question are: • Reference Number • Date of Assessment • Initial Destination • Assessment Type

  15. Group and Sort Information This enables you to organize your report. It allows you to place items that have similar characteristics together. To further answer your question: • Group- Initial Destination • Sort – Assessment Type

  16. Filter the Data Fields A “filter” sifts through the data and extracts information that matches the specific filter. Critical Filter: Date Range To not identify a date range will yield the data from the beginning of time. • Date range options.
