  1. ERRLEnviroRemediation & Research Laboratory www.errl.co.in

  2. Our Laboratory Services Enviro Remediation & Research Laboratory ( ERRL) is established to carry out interdisciplinary scientific analysis in the field of environment. We have qualified and experienced scientist team and a well-equipped environmental laboratory with sophisticated instruments for carrying out analysis of parameters covering all fields of environment i.e. Water and wastewater analysis, air analysis, soil analysis, plastic biodegradation, toxicological, microbiological analysis. We conduct the analysis as per standard methods (ISO, APHA, MoEF, NACE, ASTM etc.).Enviro Remedation & Research Laboratory also has dedicated R & D section to conduct new techniques and development.

  3. water Testing for Drinking Water, boring water, Industrial and Municipal Wastewater, Water for Irrigation etc. Soil and Sludge Soil and sludge testing

  4. Biology Analysis of biological parameters including bacteriological, fungal, phyto and zooplankton, and toxicity testing including eco-toxicology. Environmentalmanagement Environnemental Impact Assissent, Environnemental clearance, Consent Management, Environmental Audit, environmental risk Assessment services.

  5. TEAM DR. HARSH D. JADIA Dr. Harsh D Jadia is a Sr. Scientist & Head of ERRL. He has done Ph. D. in 2009, Life Sciences (Environmental biotechnology), Department of Life Sciences, Kalina, University of Mumbai. He had work as an environment scientist for more than 6 years in UK based MNC, Intertek. He has in his credit research papers published in international and national journals of repute with more than 400 citations. His research paper published under Technology Innovation News Survey (March 1-15, 2009) Sponsored by the U.S. EPA Office of Superfund Remediation and Technology Innovation. United States Environmental Protection Agency. He has also technically guided Ph.D. and M. Phil. students in environmental Biotechnology and Environmental Nanotechnology related projects. He has 3 patents (filed) in his credit. He is also a member of New York Academy of Young Scientists, USA; BioVision.Nxt 2007 Fellow (France). He had participated in International Conference on “BioVision.Nxt 2007 and 2009”

  6. Dr. DEEPALI JADIA Dr. Deepali Jadia is laboratory manager at ERRL. She has done Ph. D. in Life Sciences (Environmental biotechnology), from Department of Life Sciences, Kalina, University of Mumbai in 2010 and Post doctorate at NCCS, Pune (2011). She was appointed as Project Assistant on DBT sponsored project at National Chemical Laboratory (NCL), Pune, 2004. She has five international and two national papers as well as a bacterium at the NCBI database in her credit. She is assistant Editor of Asian Journal of Microbiology, Biotechnology and Environmental sciences (AJMBTES), EM international publication, India and also appointed as reviewer for Journal of Hazardous Material, Elsevier Publications. She has one patent filed in her credit. Dr Deepali is a member of New York Academy of Young Scientists, USA; BioVision.Nxt 2007 Fellow (France). She was on a foreign visit for participation in the International Conference “Bio Vision..

  7. UN Certifications • We are specialized in testing the packages for Shipping of Dangerousgoods– Compliant with dangerous goods regulations for Air, Road and Sea. • You will find out whether your package is sturdy enough or not, wouldn’t you rather find out in a controlled environment • Regular testing helps you understand your distribution environment. You can make changes reducing your product’s exposure to hazards • You can determine the testing methods and protocols, and you can revise them at any time as needed

  8. Packing Material Test for UN marking It is important that any Packing Material which is used for the transportation of dangerous goods is tested by Laboratory. ERRL offers package (metal, plastic, Fibreboard or Composite) testing service for the transport of dangerous goods.Test involves the package being subjected to drop tests to determine the strength of package upon impact, stack tests, leak and hydraulic testing. Our test facilities are accredited to undertake UN testing on a broad range of package types including:Boxes/Combination Packs – of all materials (all codes – 4G, 4GV,4Detc)Drums and Jerricans – steel, Fibre, plastic, composite (all codes – 1A1, 1A2, 1H1, 1H2, 1G, 3H1, 6HA1etc)Bags – 5M1, 5M2, 5H4 etc.

  9. Biodegradation Testing For Plastic: High molecular weight polymers biodegradation tests applicable to biodegradable plastics, papers, coating, packaging and other consumer material.Testing by following methods to determine if the product or its components meets the requirements of ASTM / ISO biodegradability definitions. Anaerobic Biodegradation of plastic materials under High-solids anaerobic-digestion conditions as per ASTM D5511 or ISO 15985 test methods.

  10. Aerobic Biodegradation of plastic materials in soil as per ISO 17556 or ASTM D 5988 test methods. Aerobic Biodegradation of plastic materials in Marine environment as per ASTM D 6691test method. Compostable plastics as perISO 14855– in reference to specification IS/ISO 17088 or ASTM D 5338 – in reference to specification ASTM D 6400). Oxidation and Biodegradation of plastic material as per ASTM D 6954 test method. For Oil Or Chemicals:Lubricants-oil, hydraulic fluid or grease or variety of chemicals biodegradation test as per ASTM &OECD methods.

  11. Environmental Testing Water TestingDrinking, water is used for various industrial & recreational purposes and understanding the composition of water plays an important role in such cases. Drinking or Bore water Testing Industrial water Testing Sewage, Effluent and waste water Testing Water for Irrigation Industrial and Municipal waste water

  12. Soil and Sludge Testing Soil test is done to trace presence of specific toxins or pollutants elements. We perform series of tests in order to determine the fertility or pH value of soil. In addition to the standard soil analysis for pH, lime requirement, phosphorus and potassium, a range of specific analyses are available for trace elements, for all soil test requirements, for farmers, agriculture consultants, research and development and other specialized areas.

  13. Toxicity Testing We are specialized in determining the degree to which a substance can damage a living or non-living organisms. Our researchers conduct standard test procedures to comply with governing regulations, for example for medicines and pesticides. Much toxicology is considered to be part of the field of preclinical development. Stages of in vitro and in vivo research are conducted to determine safe doses of exposure in humans before a first-in-man study. Our team is well versed with the current testing standards to offer competitive services to customers. For Oil or chemicals:Lubricants-oil, hydraulic fluid or grease or variety of chemicals Toxicity test as per ASTM &OECD methods.

  14. R & D Project • Industrial Wastewater/ sludge treatability test and pilot plant studies • Bioremediation, phytoremediation of contaminated sludge and soils • Waste minimization and resource recycling • Mines and Minerals related testing • Nanobiotechnology based R & D
