    8. Visiting Nursing Units! “I enjoyed seeing their units.  We got a great idea to "standardize" the appearance of Dashboard/Quality bulletin boards within our own hospital.”

What our Voyager’s Learned! “The culture at University Medical Center Brackenridge projects a strong sense of community.  Their organizational skills promoted the achievement of Magnet status as evidenced by data from patient satisfaction and nurse’s job satisfaction reports.” “The trip was a real eye opener.  It was good to see other institutions have struggled with the same issues that seem to cause us trouble.  The fact that they obtained Magnet certification impressed upon me that the end result isn’t perfection it is a culture that recognizes and works toward improving everything.”
