Matsuri (Primary) LELP(Language Enhancement Lessons Project) JF Sydney in collaboration with the NSW Curriculum and Learning Innovation Centre • An innovative trial to deliver lessons to Primary schools through connected classroom technology （IWB &Video conference system） • IWB activities are embedded in a unit of work on the theme of Japanese Matsuri (Taiko& Rhythm, Yatai, Furoshiki, Yukata, and Bon-odori). • Activities involve learning numbers, colour, location words etc. in the context of music, dance, food, craft and dress.

  9. Features of JF IWB resources You can • selectively use some of the activities to review and practice what you taught in your classroom, e.g. Counting, Hiragana. • edit the resource to match the topic and language you are teaching your students.

  10. Video: - A lesson for a Year 10 class(18 students) using IWB KonbiniSugorokuwith editing. - The goals of this lesson： ①Students learn vocabulary & expressions to use in a Japanese convenience store. ② Students learn to use appropriate behaviour in the social context of a convenience store.
