Instant Money Order Service • A web based money transfer service between two residents in Indian territory. • Instant on-line money transfer service • Transfer of money from Rs.1,000/- to Rs. 50,000/- from designated iMO Post Offices. • Simple way to send money as well receive money. • Door delivery of money order service is not available

  3. iMO Booking • Customer to fill up the “To Remit Payment” (TRP-1) form. • Counter Assistant to book the iMO & give a printed receipt with computer generated confidential unique 16 digit PNR number to customer. • This number is not even known to booking Assistant. • Customer is required to convey the confidential 16 digit iMO number to the receiver .

  13. iMO payment process • Receiver comes to PO, fill form TMP-1( To make payment form), shows ID & receives payment. The following are the accepted ID proof • 1.Voter’s ID Card • 2.PAN Card • 3.Ration Card • 4.Post Office Identity Card • 5.Driving License • 6.Passport • 7.School/college ID card • 8.Official ID card • 9.Aadhaar card • Receiver can receive the payment in cash up to INR 50,000. He can also receive the payment through his post office savings bank account in the same iMO office.
