Chapter 1951.003 Business of Structural Pest Control In this chapter, a person is engaged in the “business of structural pest control” if the person performs… including services performed as part of the person’s employment (1) identifying infestations or making inspections…indentify infestations of: (a) pests in households and structures (b) more pests of pests in trees shrubs, etc. in a park or residence, or business…. (2) Making oral or written inspections or reports, recommendations, estimates, or bids…. Or (3) …performing pest control services….

  7. 1951.053 Person performing pest control work otherwise regulated by department (a) Except as provided by 1951.212 and 1951.457(c) , this chapter does not apply to: 2) a person who performs pest control work on growing plants, trees, shrubs, grass, or other horticultural plants or rights-of-way if the person: (a) is employed by a poli-sub or a cemetery (b) is engaged in pest control work or vegetation mngmnt for the poli-sub or cemetery (c) holds a “TDA” commercial or noncom license.

  8. 1951.054 Person performing pest control work to agricultural land (a) except as provided by sections 1951.212 and 1951.457(c) this chapter does not apply to a person or the person’s employee who is engaged in the business of agriculture….

  9. 1951.212 IPM Programs for School Districts (a) The department shall establish standards for an IPM program for the use of pesticides, herbicides and other chemical agents to control pests, rodents, insects, and weeds at the school buildings and other facilities of school districts…
