  2. Before leaving home • Print your meeting registration confirmation. A photo ID such as a license or passport is also required for registration. • Download the MDRT Events Guide app from the app store on your mobile phone. • Review the program book on mdrt.org/2015am or the MDRT Events Guide app to start planning what sessions you will attend. • Bring business cards — you will meet a lot of new people! • Follow the Annual Meeting event page on Facebook for announcements and updates. • Download session handouts from mdrt.org/2015am. • What to pack? There is no formal dress code for the meeting; however, business casual is recommended. Expect to be active during the meeting, so bring comfortable attire and shoes suitable for walking and standing for longer periods of time.  Expect a subtropical climate with temperatures in the upper 90sF (32 C). *Meeting confirmations will be sent out 7–10 days prior to the meeting.

Upon Arrival at louis Armstrong new Orleans international airport Shuttle Services: Airport Shuttle is the official transportation company providing shuttle service for the city of New Orleans to and from the airport. Upon arrival at the airport, you can purchase tickets for USD 20 one way or USD 38 roundtrip per person. The first three bags per passenger are free. The shuttle departs every 10 minutes from the airport. +1 (504) 596-2699. Standard Taxi Services: For one or two passengers from the airport, the fare is USD 33. For three or more passengers, the fare is USD 14 per passenger, not to exceed five people.  Taxicab Bureau: +1 (504) 658-7102.

Visit neworleanscvb.com/mdrt. • Visit the On the Town booth in the Registration area to make reservations or learn about additional options. • International travelers can take advantage of duty-free shopping. • New Orleans is a safe city; however, it is important to take certain precautions when traveling. Keep your personal belongings in a safe place and refrain from wearing your meeting badge around the city.

Or visit the advanced registration counters located in Lobby B at the Convention Center. Advance Registration is located at Ernest N. MorialConvention Center (ENMCC)located Lobby B at the intersection of Julia St. and Convention Center Blvd. Registration Hours: Saturday, June 13, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Sunday, June 14, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday, June 15 , 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 7 a.m. – 2 p.m. You will receive your badge, tickets and any pre-paid special session tickets that you purchased in addition to your program book at the advanced registration counter. Your badge is your access to all sessions and events. Some will require a ticket which you will receive when you register.

Don’t miss this opportunity to make sure you get all your business done while in New Orleans! • Wi-Fi:Complimentary Wi-Fi will be offered in the public space in the Ernest N. Memorial Convention Center as well as the ConneXion Zone and Main Platform room. Check the registration area for log-in instructions.

  7. Attendee awareness General Information Helpful MDRT Terms General Sessions – Sessions where all attendees convene in one place to watch keynote presentations. These include Main Platform, MDRT Speaks and Cornerstone Presentations. Focus Sessions – Smaller sessions covering specific categories and tracks pertaining to the financial services industry. First-Time Experience (FTE) – A special kick-off session welcoming first-time attendees to their first meeting. Program General Arrangements (PGA) – Member volunteers who help the meeting run smoothly. Anyone can volunteer — find the PGA booth in the registration area to sign up. Tweet Team – Member attendees who share their meeting experience via Twitter and other social media outlets. Recognized by their “MDRTweet team” ribbon. Official hashtag handle: #MDRT2015. MDRT Past Presidents – Can be recognized by their gold name badge with black blazer and MDRT logo. • Seating for all sessions, excluding Main Platform reserved seating, is on a first-come, first-served basis. Saving seats is prohibited. Due to fire marshal safety regulations, once session rooms reach capacity, the session will be closed. • For attendees utilizing interpretation headsets, please be considerate with volume levels during sessions. • No outside food or beverages are permitted in the convention center. • Unattended items and luggage will be confiscated by security. Also, luggage will not be permitted in any session room at any time. Your understanding and cooperation is appreciated.

Top of the table Important Reminders: Activities Specifically for you: Top of the Table Connect Special Top of the Table programming in the ConneXion Zone Court of the Table and Top of the Table Program and Reception Top of the Table receptions Monday and Tuesday evening • Remember to pick up your Top of the Table golf shirt at the Top of the Table Reception. • On Tuesday, please wear your golf shirt so attendees can identify you as the highest achievers. Share with other members the benefits of qualifying. • Main Platform reserved seating is guaranteed up to 10 minutes prior to start.
