  3. Background • MOH in process of establishing EH TWG • Informally coordinating with MOH and MOE on draft of NEHAP

  4. Challenges • Lack of technical and financial support for TWG • Lack of coordination between involved partners • Lack of direction

  5. National Environmental Health Action Plan for 2005 - 06 • Establishment a clear mechanism for health and environment, • National Forum on E&H, • Development a framework on environment and health as 5 years National Environmental Health Action Plans.

  10. Recommendation • To work more closely with involved partners. • Need WHO, UNEP and international organizations continuous support/assistance. • Concrete action would be carried out in 2006.
