Birthdays: Our grade level time for celebrating birthdays is 12:10 p.m. - 12:30 p.m. Several of our 5th grade students have peanut/tree nut allergies, so we would appreciate it if any treats brought are individually wrapped and nut free. This will allow all students to participate in our celebrations.

Materials: Math In Focus Textbook (5A and 5B), Math In Focus Workbook (5A and 5B), Math Notebook, Manipulatives, Online Math Resources accessible through the website


Homework - After School Used to reinforce skills introduced in class and a learning tool to “spring-board” to the next lesson

School Expectation:

50 – 60 minutes assuming assignments in class are completed in a timely manner.

Daily Homework may include:

  • Reading

  • Word Study

  • Writing

  • Science or Social Studies Assignments

  • Math Homework

  • FASTT Math

  • Long Term Assignments

  • Planner Signed
