  1. How to View the Power Point Notes This presentation exists in order to give a tutorial on downloading our Precode PowerPoint presentations, viewing the notes therein, and printing the notes.   2. Finding the PowerPointpresentations The precode manual and thePowerPoint presentations have been made available to you via the “Precode” link at http://ed.sc.gov/agency/ac/ Assessment/ The recordings and PowerPoint presentations will be near the end of the page this link connects you to.

  3. Select and click on the PowerPoint presentation which you wish to view. When the “File Download” box comes up, select to “Save” the file. Save works more easilythan the “Open” option.

  4. To view the notes Go to where you saved the file and open it. After you open the file, go to “View” and select “Notes Page.” This setting will allow you see the notes below the Power Point slides. For Office 2010, go to the “View” tab and select “Notes Page.”

  5. This is an example of a slide in “Notes” view.

  6. Navigating the notes At this point, you can slide back and forth between the slides by using your mouse or the “Page Down” button. Depending on your default settings, youmay have these buttons onthe lower-right corner,which can alsonavigate the pages. The Notes should appear below any slide which has notes. (For the purposes of the precode training, all slides will have notes. These notes are the script for the recordings.)

  7. To print the Notes, go to “File” and select “Print” as if for a normal printing. When the print box appears,go down to “Print what” and select “Notes Pages.” This will print out each slide along with the notes attached to each slide. Printing the Notes
