Sports/Leagues Offered • Dodgeball • MEN, WOMEN, AND COREC • Softball • MEN, WOMEN, AND COREC (COMP & REC) • Ultimate Frisbee • MEN, WOMEN, AND COREC (COMP & REC) • 4v4 Flag Football • MEN & WOMEN • Sand Volleyball • MEN, WOMEN, & COREC *Women may participate on a men’s team but forfeit the eligibility to play on a women’s team.

  4. Regular Season • Late Registration (for those not attending the Capt Mtg) • Monday, March 1st in IM Office Fike 203 • 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM • PLAY BEGINS MONDAY, March 8th • Captains should check their email frequently for schedule changes. • Final schedules will be posted online by FRIDAY, March 5th by 3PM

  5. Roster Policies • Can add players until playoffs begin, but not after • May add in the office or on the courts/fields • Individual must be present with Clemson ID* • All participants must sign the waiver and be on the roster legally to be eligible for regular season AND playoffs • Roster limit is fixed; teams cannot remove a player to add another player *Indoor Sports – players must have Clemson ID at every game

  6. Must be enrolled in at least one 3-hour course and a member of Campus Recreation Faculty/staff must be full-time and a Campus Rec member for indoor sports Co-ops must pay Campus Rec Fee prior to first game Campus Ministers must be recognized by Student Organizations Eligibility Varsity, Jr. Varsity, Walk-ons, and Club players must be on file in the IM office to participate Bridge program students are eligible (TTC) Team forfeits all games in which ineligible player has participated……No Exceptions!

  7. One-Team Rule • An eligible player may only play for one team, per division, per sport. They may also play on a co-rec team within the same sport. Acceptable…Mens 3v3 and Co-Rec 3v3 Unacceptable…Mens A 3v3 and Mens B 3v3 • Second team the player signs up on will forfeit all games played by person playing on two teams. • Women can play in men’s OR women’s league, plus a Co-Rec league

  8. No Shows & Forfeits • A No Show (NS) is defined as not having any one member sign in for the game • A Forfeit (F) is defined as not having enough members signed in to start the game • Game Time = Forfeit Time - teams must be signed in and ready to play • Any combination of Two Forfeits or No Shows = immediate removal from play • One No Show = removal from playoff consideration • New Forfeit Fee Policy

  9. Ejections • All ejected players must leave the playing area immediately or a forfeit will be called • Must call or email the IM Director to arrange a meeting…..no walk-in meetings allowed • Ejected players are deemed ineligible for all sports until a meeting is set and completed

  10. Field and Building Policy • The following are prohibited within the confines of the fields and Fike Recreation Center: * Alcoholic beverages * Smoking and other tobacco products * Glass

  11. Inclement Weather • Games may be cancelled due to inclement weather. • Every effort to reschedule will be made. • IM Office - 656-6200 for information. • AOL IM – ClemsonIM

  12. Captain’s Responsibilities • Sign up team(s) and turn in Captains Info Card • Understand and enforce eligibility rules • Keep in contact with Intramural Office • Notify team members of rules and schedules • Represent team at all meetings if applicable • Check the accuracy of the standings and/or scores • Maintain high standards of sportsmanship • Keep informed of the rules of conduct • Ensure team attends all scheduled games • All jerseys must have numbers – no tape!

  13. Sportsmanship Rating System • Given by Supervisors and Officials • 1 to 4, 4 being the best. • Forfeit: Winner - 4, Loser – 2.5 • Forfeit Scores: Basketball 2-0, Soccer 1-0, Billiards 3-0 , TT 1-0 • No Show: no sportsmanship will be recorded • Specific information on the website

  14. Playoffs • Top 2 teams in each division will advance • Overall 3rd place team from each league will advance as a Wildcard • Sportsmanship rating of 2.75 for the season • Seeding will be determined by the Rating Score • Advanced and Novice will have separate brackets

  15. Roster Policies MUST HAVE MINIMUM NUMBER TO PLAY BY FRIDAY MARCH, 6TH AT NOON SOFTBALL – 9 4V4 – 3 ULTIMATE – 5 SAND VOLLEYBALL – 2 DODGEBALL - 5

  16. Rule Changes • Dodgeball – Unofficiated • Softball – Minimum number to play is 9, batter 10 is an automatic out.
