  4. Vulnerability Factors?? Identify one or two vulnerability factors and write them onto a “Post It” note

  5. Things that make a young person vulnerable • Homelessness • Unemployment • Drug use • Gang membership • Lack of education/ information • Lack of self-esteem. • Immigration status. • Mental health • Other

  7. Sharing Best Practice In groups pick a theme where you have experience working. Discuss how you have successfully worked and engaged with that group. Include tools or ways of working can be used

  8. Empowerment and Bringing about Change What Works??? Working with Strengths and Potential Identifying Intrinsic Motivation Trust Setting realistic goals in partnership Emotional Connectivity with the YP Using a Guiding Style Believing in the YP
