London Olympics – TV and Online Viewing • TV • July 27 – Aug 12 (17 days) • 5,535 hours of coverage on NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, Bravo, Telemundo • Most-watched US TV event in history, with 219.4M viewers (up 2% from Beijing) • Average over 31.1M viewers per night over 17 days • Online • All events streamed live • 57.1M unique visitors (+10% compared to Beijing) , 10.1M uniques on mobile devices (+55%) • Over 94M on-demand video streams (6.7M hours) • Over 64M live video streams (13.6M hours) • Multi-Platform Impact • People who tuned in using four devices — a TV, tablet, personal computer and smartphone — spent more time each day watching the Games, a total of five hours and 34 minutes, than viewers who watched only on TV, who logged three hours and 12 minutes

Other Topics • AFD – still very important – est. 300M old analog sets are still out there… • Loudness – all networks and cable channels fully compliant and certified • Video Description – MVPD system limitations remain an issue • Video Description or Alternate Language? • An industry-level coordinated approach would be beneficial
