  2. Why is it important to have a variety of animals in the bay ? • It is important to have a variety of animals in the bay. The oyster drill help feed the food sources. The osprey helps keep the bay clean. The Diamondback terrapin helps keep the bay clean . My research will show that oyster Drills, osprey, and Diamondback terrapin are important to the bay.

  3. Oyster drills • Oyster Drills are small snails. They belong to a family of animals called gastropods . They live in the aquatic reef. Oyster Drills can also be found in the spring and early summer .The word gastropods means stomach foot.

  4. Osprey The osprey helps keep the bay clean . Osprey hunt and kill there prey ospreys are on top of the food chain .ospreys keep the food chain together. Ospreys hunt over water for fish. When they stretch out there wings they can be up to 5 feet across. Osprey are sometimes called fish hawks for good reasons. They live in piers , rocks and jetties .

  5. Diamondback terrapin • The diamondback terrapin helps keep the bay healthy. The diamondback terrapin lives in inteirdal flags . The diamondback terrapin is one afisol reptile . Diamondbacks are part of the turtle family.

  6. Conclusion • In conclusion I have learned that another word for oyster drills is gastropods . and that I have learned that when ospreys stretch out there wings it could be over 5 feet long.
