  1. Surviving in the Desert

  2. Giving God PraiseNumbers 15:1-20

  3. Pleasing to the Lord After you enter the land I am giving you as a home and you present to the LORD offerings made by fire, from the herd or the flock, as an aroma pleasing to the LORD … v3 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship, Romans 12:2

  4. I have received full payment and even more; I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God, Philippians 4:18. And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased, Hebrews 13:16

  5. Freewill Offerings v2-3 .. whether burnt offerings or sacrifices, for special vows or freewill offerings or festival offerings..

  6. Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:6-8

  7. Grain Offerings v4, 6-7 The one who brings his offering shall present to the LORD a grain offering of a tenth (two tenths or three tenths) of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a quarter ( a third or a half) of a hin of oil. Offer it as an aroma pleasing to the LORD.

  8. Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:20 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:17 Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 1Thessalonians 5:18

  9. Drink Offerings v5, 10 With each lamb for the burnt offering or the sacrifice, prepare a quarter of a hin of wine as a drink offering. And a third of a hin of wine as a drink offering. Offer it as an aroma pleasing to the LORD.

  10. And live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. Ephesians 5:2 But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you. Philippians 2:17

  11. Foreigner’s Offerings v13-16 For the generations to come, whenever an alien or anyone else living among you presents an offering made by fire as an aroma pleasing to the LORD, he must do exactly as you do. The community is to have the same rules for you and for the alien living among you; this is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come. You and the alien shall be the same before the LORD: The same laws and regulations will apply both to you and to the alien living among you. v14-16.

  12. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ. Ephesians 2:13 Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow-citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household. Ephesians 2:19

  13. Firstfruits Offerings v17-21 Present a cake from the first of your ground meal and present it as an offering from the threshing-floor. v20 Let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise; the fruit of lips that confess his name. Hebrews 13:15.

  14. How Often? The LORD said to Moses, "Give this command to the Israelites and say to them: ‘See that you present to me at the appointed time the food for my offerings made by fire, as an aroma pleasing to me.’” Numbers 28:3 Every day – morning and evening v3-8 On the Sabbath day v9-10 On the first of every month v11-15

  15. On the fourteenth day of the first month v16-25 On the day of firstfruits v26-31 On the first day of the seventh month 29:1-6 On the tenth day of this seventh month v7-11 On the fifteenth day of the seventh month v12-40
