  1. Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Rally Scoring Marcy Thurwachter < mthurwachter@wiaawi.org >

  2. This is a varsity match between Team A and Team B and is played at the Resch Center. Team A is the home team. The date is November 4, 2004, and this is game 5 (the deciding game). The Referee is Bob Smith and the Umpire is Julie Collins. You are the scorekeeper for the match.

  3. Team B has won the coin toss and elects to serve first. Team A chooses their playing area which is the court to the left of the scorekeeper.

  4. 15c 14 13 12 3 4 20 21 22 11c 10 5 Team A Team B Team line ups are submitted. The game begins at 7:00 p.m.

  5. Team B #5 serves and scores the first three points. The fourth serve results in the loss of rally.

  6. Team A #13 serves and the ball goes out of bounds.

  7. Team B #4 serves two straight aces for points 5 and 6.

  8. The Team A coach requests a substitution – #5 replaces #13 (Sx5/13).

  9. Team B #4 serves two more points (7, 8) before a penalty card (red card) on Team B #3 results in a loss of rally.

  10. Team A #14 serves three straight points (3, 4, 5) before Team B calls a time out (Tx).

  11. The Team B coach requests a substitution - #13 for #3 (Sx13/3).

  12. Team A #14 serves points 6, 7, 8 before Team B #12 is given a yellow card for misconduct. The next serve is a loss of rally for Team A.

  13. Team B #13 serves into the net.

  14. Team A #15 serves two points (10, 11). A penalty point is then awarded to Team A for a red card on Team B #12.

  15. Team B calls a time out (Tx).

  16. Team A #15 serves one point (let serve), and then serves for a loss of rally.

  17. Team B #12 serves two straight points (11, 12). The next serve results in a loss of rally.

  18. Team A #20 serves and the result is a loss of rally.

  19. Team B substitutes #3 for #13 (S3/13). Team B #11 serves for a point (let serve). The next serve results in a loss of rally.

  20. Team A takes a time out. Team A substitutes #33 for #21 (S33/21).

  21. Team A serves and wins game point. The end time of the game is 7:30 p.m.
