  • If you are paid 47 contact hours per three-credit hour course and you teach three classes, you will be paid for 141 contact hours over the course of the semester

    47 contact hours times 3 classes = 141

  • If you are paid four times per semester, you should be paid for 35.25 contact hours per semester

    141 divided by 4 = 35.25 (for three classes)

    47 divided by 4 = 11.75 (for one class)

  • This holds true regardless of step and lane
