  4. Typical Workday Daily maintenance and inspection Work with contractors to fix issues with property Negotiate and issue leases Show property to prospective tenants Spend time at desk to perform office duties Other issues could arise on a daily basis

  5. Education Bachelors or Masters degree preferred Typically a degree in business administration, accounting finance, real estate or public administration (or equivalent coursework) Some positions could require real estate licensure Required on site training

  6. Skills and Experience Real estate background preferred Strong knowledge of basic repair and maintenance skills Strong business sense Excellent communication and negotiation skills Knowledge of contractor terms
