CAD READER. PERTEMUAN 4. Computer Aided Design (CAD). CAD drawing berfungsi seperti halnya jenis feature theme lain dlm ArcView. Pada CAD drawing kemungkinan menggunakan semua fungsi pengubahan theme yg meliputi peta tematik dan data spasial.

  2. Computer Aided Design (CAD) • CAD drawing berfungsi seperti halnya jenis feature theme lain dlm ArcView. • Pada CAD drawing kemungkinan menggunakan semua fungsi pengubahan theme yg meliputi peta tematik dan data spasial. • Tapi Pengeditan dan pengubahan feature theme CAD drawing atau relasi dlm tabel tdk bisa dilakukan kecuali theme tsb di convert ke Shapefiles.

  3. Mengaktikan CAD Reader • Start Arc View • Bukamenu File, pilih Extensions. • Pada tampilan Extensions dialog, klik check box CAD Reader. • Tekan OK.

  4. Menyisipkan CAD Drawing ke dalam View • Pada menu View, Klik Add Theme button atau tekan tanda • Pada pilihan Data Source, pilih Feature Data Source. • Double klik pada nama direktori yg berisi file CAD drawing dan pilih nama file gambar yg akan dimasukkan.

  5. Menyisipkan CAD Drawing ke dalam View (lanjutan) File format gambar yg didukung CAD Drawing : file MicroStation design (.dgn), AutoCAD drawing files, file .dwg (Windows saja) dan file .dxf (Drawing Interchange files). Seperti ditunjukkan pd gambar berikut:

  6. Menyisipkan CAD Drawing ke dalam View (lanjutan) • Klik OK

  7. Entity CAD • CAD Drawing secara khas menyimpan berbagai kesatuan jenis entity dlm layers. contoh : suatu layer tunggal mungkin berisi representasi feature area grafik seperti bangunan, feature linear yg sama seperti jalan dan feature point. • Paket CAD drawing secara umum tidak membatasi cara penyimpanan entiti pada layers

  8. Theme Arc View • Pada Theme Arc View, gambar hanya utk satu class feature dlm theme. Contoh: theme polygon hanya akan menggambarkan feature area, theme line utk jalan, dll

  9. Perbedaan Klas Feature

  10. Mengelola Layers • Secara khusus user CAD mengorganisir jenis informasi yang berbeda pada layer yg berbeda. • Layer yg akan ditampilkan pada view hanya layer yg dipilih pada properties theme.

  11. Menampilkan Layer • All Layers, pilihan ini utk menampilkan semua layer yg ada pada drawing • Default Layers, pilihan utk mengembalikan tampilan gambar di view ke posisi aslinya.

  12. Langkah-langkah mengelola layer • Buka tampilan View • Klik theme CAD Drawing

  13. Langkah-langkah mengelola layer (lanjutan) • Klik menu Theme, pilih Properties • Pada tampilan Theme Properties, pilih Drawing. Sehingga muncul tampilan seperti berikut :

  14. Langkah-langkah mengelola layer (lanjutan) • Pada kotak Layers tdp semua feature yg tdp dlm theme CAD drawing yg dipilih pada View. • Pilih Layers yg akan ditampilkan, mis: layer roads dan study_area. • Klik OK, shg menghasilkan tampilan pada view seperti berikut :

  16. Tabel Theme CAD Drawing Utk mengaktifkan tabel thema CAD Drawing,caranya : • Pada menu Theme, pilih Table • Atau tekan button

Tabel Theme CAD Drawing berisi : • Shape , An ArcView specific field whose value is an object that is the shape of the corresponding feature. • Entity, CAD drawing’s entity/element name such as Polyline, Line String, Circle, Insert, etc • Layer, CAD drawing layer/level name • Level, Microstation design file’s Level number

Tabel Theme CAD Drawing berisi : • Elevation, CAD entity's elevation value • Thickness, CAD entity's thickness value • Color, CAD entity's color number (always uses entity's color irrespective of layer color settings) • Linetype, CAD entity's linetype name • Width, CAD entity’s line width. • Style, CAD entity's text style name • Text, Store the text string itself in annotation theme’s table (for AutoCAD inserts and Microstation Cells, this field stores the block or cell’s name).

  19. Mengedit Legenda Theme CAD Drawing • Pada menu Theme, pilih Edit Legend • Atau tekan button • Shg muncul tampilan spt disamping:

  20. Types of Legend : • Single Symbol. All the features in the theme are displayed with the same colors and symbols. This is useful when you only need to show where a theme’s features are located.

  21. Types of Legend : • Graduated Color. Features are displayed with the same symbol type, but the colors represent the progression of values for a data attribute you specify.

  22. Types of Legend : • Graduated Symbol. The features are displayed with the same colors and symbols, representing a progression of values. Graduated symbol is only available for point and line data.

  23. Types of Legend : • Unique Value. Each unique value in a theme is represented with a unique symbol. This is the most effective method for displaying categorical data.

  24. Types of Legend : • Dot Density. The features of a polygon theme are displayed with a number of dots corresponding to a value.

  25. Types of Legend : • Chart The features are displayed with a chart. The components of the chart correspond to data attributes you specify, and the size of each part in a chart is determined by the value of each data attribute.

  26. Konversi CAD Drawing ke Shapefiles • Buka file CAD drawing yg akan dikonversi ke shapefiles • Klik menu Theme, pilih Convert to Shapefiles • Masukkan lokasi tempat penyimpanan hasil konversi.
