  1. Home Row Keys This is a Power Point Slide. Click your mouse to move from one slide to another.

  2. Home Row Keys • Tips when keyboarding: • Sit with your back against the chair. • Feet should be touching the floor. Use a box or short stool if feet are not touching. • When keyboarding look at the monitor. • Keep your fingers curled with fingers resting on the home row. • Use your right little finger to hit the “enter key” to go to the next line.

  3. Home Row Keys Left Hand = A, S, D, F Right Hand = J, K, L, ;

  4. Home Row Keys Left Hand = A, S, D, F

  5. Home Row Keys Left Hand = A, S, D, F

  6. Home Row Keys Right Hand = J, K, L, ;

  7. Home Row Keys Left Hand – Little finger is A, ring finger is S, middle finger is D, and poiner finger is F. Right Hand – Pointer finger is J, middle finger is K, ring finger is L, and little finger is semi-colon “;” Right little finger stretches to hit the “enter key” and the thumbs hit space bar.
