Woodrow Wilson Management Corporation, Inc. • Achievements January-August 2007 • Incorporation of WMC January 2007 • Obtained initial DCPS $50,000 funding in April • Executive Director/COO recruited, hired, commenced May • Coordinated construction activities Summer 2007 • Roof replacement and pool demolition • Field and stadium renovations (N.B. coordination with community) • Faculty parking lot additions (and on street parking) • Gym renovations (new floor, renovated locker rooms) • Installation of AC units south side of building • Signed contract with DCPS August • Contract fully funded October

Woodrow Wilson Management Corporation, Inc. • Goals for this quarter were • Finalize work order system with OPEFM • Modernization • Launch feasibility study with Grimm & Parker • Tour Washington & Lee and other schools • Update property survey, HAZMAT study & EC survey • Launch education specification survey • Obtain DCPS audits and launch WMC audit plans

  5. Woodrow Wilson Management Corporation, Inc. • Achievements for this quarter were • Launched WMC audit plans • Implemented Field and Stadium rental use agreements • Helped manage new security door installation • Overseeing new A/C installations • Paid for and managed purchase of CAAS system

Woodrow Wilson Management Corporation, Inc. • Achievements for this quarter (cont’d) • Modernization • Launched feasibility study with Grimm & Parker • Tour of Washington & Lee HS and Kenmore MS conducted on April 4, 2008 • Property and various professional surveys updates underway • Created on line user “expectation survey” • Commenced education specification survey process with Wilson students, faculty, staff and parents

Woodrow Wilson Management Corporation, Inc. • Additional Maintenance Achievements • Plastering 12,000 square feet of damaged walls and ceilings from 10 years of water leaks. • Coordinated replacement of heat exchanger in gymnasium • Replacement of damaged lockers in Main Building and installation of. • new Lockers for incoming 9th graders • Handled and completed more than 24 requests for repairs ranging from replacing doors, fixing broken windows, rewiring teacher’s lounges for phone service, putting latches on bathroom doors, etc. •  On going coordination with pool construction

Woodrow Wilson Management Corporation, Inc. • On-going issues & hurdles remaining from last Q • No definitive clarification of issues raised in 3 July 2006 letter to Mr. Dale Talbert (WTU and LSRT) • Wilson (and WMC as a volunteer organization) will need professional third-party help with all aspects of any role for WMC beyond modernization • DCPS financial & operational audits not completed • Pressure to possibly expand role of WMC in context of restructuring • No finalized work order system with OPEFM

Woodrow Wilson Management Corporation, Inc. • Other Issues & Hurdles • Loss of faculty parking where pool construction has begun • MPD, Hawk One and DCPS cars use pedestrian plaza for parking • OPEFM work order system not documented by OPEFM • Need for DCPS to assign point person for WW modernization • Need for OPEFM to assign point person for WW modernization • Land transfer of “triangle” at Chesapeake Street and Fort Drive • Access to stadium due to pool construction • Continuing public inquiries and confusion regarding pilot program of autonomy over field/stadium
