  2. Aiutami, o Madre, a vedere nel buio dell’anima mia, fa che il mio sguardo non sia limitato a me stesso.

  3. Il dolore mi afferra e pare che la mia vita sia terminata, ma Tu mi dici che non è così e che ci sono ancora delle possibilità, anche per me.

  4. Com’è possibile questo, quando il buio e l’isolamento sono dentro il mio cuore e l’aridità più cupa riempie il mio giorno?

  5. Schiudimi i veli della fede, fa che veda al di là delle cose della terra e sotto la Tua guida possa comprendere che tutto non è ciò che vedo.

  6. Tu mi dici che ci sono orizzonti nuovi, possibilità nuove, attività e conquiste oltre quelle della materia.

  7. Che io comprenda queste realtà, che io sappia e possa uscire da me stesso per riempire il mio isolamento

  8. e per dare anch’io, sia pure da questo letto, isolato dalla mia antica cerchia di vita il mio apporto per tutti.
