  6. Buying and Downloading from iTunes • In iTunes you can search for just about anything. -To preview a song, click the song title in the list pane than click the play button. Previews last about 30 seconds. -When browsing by artist you must type the artists first name, first than the last. • When you select content you can purchase the items and and download them immediately. -Just click the Buy button -Whether the item is a song, album, TV show episode or an audio book. -The iTunes store keeps track of your purchases over a 24 hour period. And bills you for a total sum rather than for each single purchase.

Adding (Ripping) Music from CD’s • Insert an audio CD into the computer -Click yes or no as whether you want to import the CD -If the computer is not connected to the internet than you will not automatically retrieve music info. • Click yes to import or no to set options first -Click the no button to set preferences and import settings • Deselect the boxes next to the songs if there are songs that you don’t want. -Itunes only imports songs that have a check in the Box next to the song. • Click the import CD button
