  • Arjuna is presenting an argument with Sri Krishna because he fears fighting against his family and friends.
  • Krishna explains to Arjuna that as a warrior it is his duty to fight.
  • Krishna tells Arjuna that the eternal soul has no reason for grief over the temporary body.
  • Krishna then explains that even if Arjuna was to die in war, he would still attain heaven because he has done his rightful duty.

  • Wise Action is when you do your duty only, without personal attachment.
  • One can act without personal attachment by pleasuring God. This frees a person from impurity and sin.
