  2. Abolitionists- A person who strongly favors doing away with slavery. John Adams-Again in the Continental Congress, in 1775, he nominated Washington to be commander-in-chief on the colonial armies. Antifederalists-Individuals who opposed ratification of the constitution.

  3. Boycott-for refuse to buy items from a particular country. Maryland baltimore-1832 convention in the civil war growth of railroad. Burgesses-elected representatives to an assembly.

  4. James E. Carter-1980 election economic polices of 574 foreign. Cash crop-farm crop raised to be sold for money. Capitalism-An ecomonic system based on private property and free enterprise.
