  4. Why it should be Legal • Treats glaucoma, fights cancer cells, helps people in chemo, relieves nausea and vomiting. • Does not cause cancer or death • Not addictive • Relieves stress and headaches • If legalized and taxed government could make approximately $45 billion in revenue.

  5. Problem • Government won’t give in • Older generation won’t vote to support legalization • Debate is becoming more hostile and people are becoming more desperate

  6. Mediation • Differentiate between THC rich marijuana and non THC rich hemp. • Legalize growing of hemp for its multitude of uses • Legalize marijuana for farming so it can be taxed. • US citizens can obtain marijuana from a dispensary if 21 or older • Citizens without government license to grow and sell cannot grow or sell marijuana. • Selling to younger generation would be illegal.
