  3. Trego و Kepner • روشي براي تحليل مسايل به‌منظور دستيابي به راه‌حل‌هاي مناسب • در سال 1981 توسعه يافته است. • اين روش سيستماتيك در چهار مرحله توسعه ‌‌مي‌يابد و در حل مسايل مهندسي كارآمدي خود را اثبات كرده است.

  5. تحليل وضعيت • تشخيص مشكلات و ابعاد مسئله مسئله را بايد از ابعاد مختلف بررسي كرد و از هر جنبه، سطح و عمق آن را تشخيص داد. تشخيص و شناسايي مسئله از سه بعد انجام مي‌شود. • اولويت(درجه اهمیت از نظر نوبت رسیدگی) • روند (افزایشی یا کاهشی) • تاثيرات (مشکلات دیگری را می‌تواند ایجاد کند)

  6. H = High level of concern/urgency; M = Moderate level of concern/urgency;L=Low

  7. تحليل مسئله • What is the problem (and what is it not?) • When did the problem occur (and when did it not occur)? • Where did the problem occur (and where did it not occur)? • What is the extent of the problem (number, degree, etc.)?
