  4. WHY? • Objectives: • To explore advances in EQA • Microbiology, Genetics, Cytology, Internet • To create opportunities for sharing information and for developing new partnerships • To promote the role of EQA in global health

  5. Expectations • Develop a sense of global community among EQA participants and program providers • Develop or expand partnerships • Appreciate the global need for EQA programs • Understand the role of international standards

  6. Vision • Better communication – PT Inventory, Future Meetings, Publications, Internet • Better collaboration – Resources, Mentors • Better global health – Quality Testing • Learn from other industries – Airlines, Space Program • Ongoing collaboration – Coalition?

  7. Questions? • What are your expectations for GO 2002? • What is the scope of EQA in your country? • Should the scope of EQA in your country be changed? • If it should be changed, who could help you change it? • Who should play a role in making these changes in your country?
