  1. Edison Mission Group Corporate Profile Edison Mission Group (EMG) manages the competitive power generation business and other unregulated subsidiaries of Edison International (NYSE: EIX). EMG is headquartered in Santa Ana, Calif. Generation EMG company’s operate own or lease interests in 49 power generation facilities, with an aggregate capacity of 11,504 megawatts, of which EMG's ownership share is 10, 379 megawatts. EMG’s power generation assets include fossil-fuel power plants in California, Illinois, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Doga, Turkey; and a biomass facility in New York. EMG has one of the largest portfolios of wind energy projects in the U.S., with 31 projects currently in operation or under construction in Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, West Virginia and Wyoming. Edison Mission Energy Edison Mission Energy (EME), a subsidiary of EMG also based in Santa Ana, Calif., is an independent power producer engaged in the business of owning, leasing, operating and selling energy and capacity from electric power generation facilities. EME conducts price risk management and energy trading activities through Edison Mission Marketing and Trading, which is based in Boston. Merchant Power EMG subsidiary Midwest Generation operates six electric power generating plants in Illinois and supervises operation of EME’s Homer City Generation plant in Homer City, Pa. The Midwest Generation and Homer City plants are merchant plants which sell electricity in competitive wholesale markets. Most of these plants' output is sold into the PJM (Pennsylvania-Jersey-Maryland) marketplace, a 13-state region which extends from the Atlantic coast westward to Ill. EME subsidiary Edison Mission Operation & Maintenance , Inc. (EMOMI) operates eight natural gas power plants in partnership with other companies in California and a waste coal plant in West Virginia. EMOMI also operates EMG’s wind farms. Power from these facilities is sold under contracts to various utilities. Edison Capital The capital and financial services business of EMG is managed by the Santa Ana, Calif.-based Edison Capital subsidiary, which has investments worldwide in energy and infrastructure projects, including power generation, electric transmission and distribution, transportation and telecommunications.
