  1. Crocodiles Richard and Troy We are writing about crocodiles. If you don’t know what the biggest crocodile is read it. You can learn about babies, what they eat and more. We hope you learned more about crocodiles.

  2. Size Size- greatly varies between species, from dwarf crocodile to the saltwater crocodile. Species of Palaeosuchus and Osteolaemus grow to an adult size of just 1 meter (3.3ft) to 1.5 meters (4.9ft). Larger species can reach over 4.85 meters (15.9ft) long and weigh well over 1,200 kilograms (2, lb). Crocodiles show pronounced sexual dimorphism with males growing much larger and more rapidly than females. There is no reliable way of measuring crocodile age, although several techniques are used to derive a reasonable guess.

  3. Food Crocodiles eat a large number of small animals such as fish, birds and turtles. They would eat or swallow it whole. If they wanted to kill there prey they would have to seize it. By seizing it the crocodile would have to rapidly spin lengthwise in the water. Some of the crocodiles are camoflauge so they can hunt better.
