  1. My Jesus Book Mr. Farrell

  2. A Christmas Mystery An Angel of God appeared to the Virgin Mary and told her that she was going to have a son. Since King Herod sent his soldiers out to kill Jesus, Mary and Joseph had to travel to Bethlehem where Jesus was born in a manger.

  3. Presentation of Jesus in the Temple When Jesus was 13 he traveled to Nazareth with Joseph and Mary. When they arrived in Nazareth they prepared for the Passover feast. In celebrating Passover Jesus presented a lamb for sacrifice to God at the Temple. The lamb that Jesus presented was the best lamb, without spot or blemish.

  4. Finding of Jesus in the Temple One day Mary and Joseph could not find Jesus. They thought that he might have been playing with his cousins. When they finally found him he was speaking to the elders at the Temple. He asked them, “Didn’t you know that I would be about my Father’s business?”

  5. The Baptism of Jesus Elizabeth and Zacharias had a son named John who later became known as John the Baptist. John lived in the wilderness preaching the word of God and preparing the way for Jesus. After Jesus was baptized by John he began his ministry as a priest, prophet, and king.

  6. Calling of the Disciples Jesus approached his disciples who were casting their nets into the water so that they could catch fish for the day. Jesus told them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” So they put down their nets and they followed Jesus.

  7. Miracles of Jesus Jesus healed David of his palsy, Lady McCaw of her sickness, and gave sight to the blind man. His miracles were possible because of their faith. Jesus tells us that if we have faith the size of a mustard seed, the smallest of seeds, that all things are possible through God.

  8. The Righteous Judge When the woman was condemned to death by stoning for being unfaithful to her husband she was brought before Jesus. As the people gathered to kill the woman Jesus told them, “Thou without sin cast the first stone.” In this way, it is important for us to look at ourselves and judge righteously.
